Hey, I’m Jo!
I am 28 years old, born in Coimbra, graduated in Photography since 2018 and based in Lisbon since 2015.
I am curious, lo-fi, dreamy, sensitive, attentive, emotional, organized and kind. I feel spaces and people very easily.
What is today an asset was once a great challenge.
I live on simple things, small groups, comfortable silences, desires in process and music for movement.
BESIDES STORYTELLING & CONTENT CREATION,
I also have a small project of handmade organic candles on ceramic pieces.
Creativity is a river and we are at least 70% water, right?
The comfort that candles bring me is the fuel to stay mindful in my days.
Action breeds reaction, and that reaction is often my motivation.
I have always been a person with extreme difficulty in making decisions. Not because I don't know what I want, but because I am aware of the infinite possibilities that lie ahead every day.
And I say this because, with very few certainties I had when I was younger, observing and photographing. was the only things that motivated me.
Today, I dedicate myself (a lot) to,
I living with purpose, to getting to know myself a little more every day (and a lot thanks to each project I collaborate on.)
Idedicate myself to each collaboration as if they were mine from scratch, but only for the care and attention. I can transform into images what my clients explain in words and it has been delightful to deliver dreams in the form of images.
PASSIONATE ABOUT WRITING AND UNDERSTANDING LIFE,
I transform projects into sensations, because more important than selling something, is selling an emotion.
And people really want to feel! This is what I have been witnessing, people want to feel that they are giving their best, that they have achieved a dream, that they are giving wings to their life project, that they want to take with them memories of a life being the best version of themselves in each of its phases.
And more important than taking photos, is to tell stories and create sensory journeys.
